A joyous Easter!

Hello lovely friends, hope that you had a great weekend!
I have been busy making these little pocket envelopes, which I started creating a few weeks ago and have now finished them.. finally! They also coincide with the Springtime Mood Board over on my challenge blog Crafts Dreamy

Here is April's Mood Board for inspiration.

I created these using kraft envelopes; I used a Magnolia Doohickey Tilda's lace border die at the top of the envelope to create a pocket with a fancy edge.

I have used different vintage Ephemera on each pocket.

Each pocket has been decorated with layered matching paper so they all have the same background. I have also distressed all edges with Vintage photo distress ink and added Starlight Stickles to certain areas of the Ephemera.

Thank you for stopping by,
Have a great week!

Fairy Garden... all things spring!

Hello lovely friends, hope you are well!

Today I am sharing with you a card that I was inspired to make for the Craftyola challenge on Instagram and Facebook. Here is their beautiful photograph that I took inspiration from.

This card is a mini one! measuring 4 Inches x 4 Inches square.

I have used plain white card stock for the base of my card and adhered these shabby wood and crackled paint digital papers and a darling vintage fairy image (a list of all products used will be at the end of the post)

Once all the layers had been adhered, I then created this flower collage.

I recently purchased this wonderful Honeycomb die from Ebay and thought it would fit perfectly on to my card and it cuts like a dream!

Finally, I printed out the caption 'Fairy garden' and adhered it to my card.

The products I have used are:

*Plain white card stock
*Vintage fairy image
*Honeycomb metal cutting die
*Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink

Thanks for stopping by,
see you on the next post!

Shabby Chic centre step card

Hello lovely friends,
hope you are well and having a great start to your week?

Today I am sharing another Shabby Chic sample card that I have made for

I have used these gorgeous Rose pastel digital papers that my wonderful sponsor has provided for my craft challenge over at Crafts Dreamy

This time I decided to use the Rose Pastel in the shade of Pink, it is such a beautiful colour that matches perfectly with this delightful vintage image.

Here, I have combined the pastel pink with some lovely distressed wood design paper to make this card extra shabby and dreamy!

I just love creating these centre step cards, they are so fun and super easy to make!

I started with plain white card stock and then adhered these paper layers using Rose pastel, distressed wood and music score sheet paper. All the edges have been distressed using
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.

Next, I added this darling vintage image and I have also created a flower collage using baby pink mulberry roses, pink stamens and foam spirals.

Finally, I created these layered butterfly embellishments decorated with Star light Stickles, which I adhered to my card using pop-dots.

French theme shabby card

Hello lovely friends, hope you are well!

Today I am sharing with you a French inspired Shabbylicious sample card that I have made for a wonderful lady called Elaine over at Digital Heaven on Etsy.

Digital Heaven is the proud sponsor of Crafts Dreamy, a big thank you goes to Elaine for all of her kindness and support. Please click on the link above to see all the beautiful items Elaine has in her Etsy store. These stunning Rose pastel digital papers were provided by Elaine for  the Crafts Dreamy February challenge.

Here I have made a centre step card from plain white card stock, they are super easy to make and you can find an array of tutorials over on Youtube. Once I had made my card base, I then used this stunning Rose pastel paper in the shade of Blue.

I have also created layers using music score sheet paper.

Next, I added this gorgeous vintage image, which matches the paper perfectly.

I created a small flower collage using some beautiful mulberry roses in tones of Cream and Antique blue along with some White glitter stamens. I have also adhered a couple of Blue butterfly embellishments and a metal fountain pen nib for added interest.

Everything has been distressed using Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink and Picket fence distress paint, to achieve a very old shabby chic look.

Thanks once again for stopping by,

Please feel free to follow me on both of my blogs and to join in with the Monthly craft challenges, it would be so great to see your creations!

See you on the next post,

hugs.
